Refund and Cancellation Policies
Tuition for each course includes a $50.00 non-refundable registration fee. For cancellations less than fifteen calendar days from the starting date of school, all paid fees will be forfeited EXCEPT in case of emergency. In such instances, special consideration may be granted if applied for in writing with supporting documentation and submitted to the GLIP trustees for their consideration at their July meeting.
The Great Lakes Institute of Photography shall have no responsibility or liability for personal injury to any participant or loss or damage to any participant's property, or for personal injuries or damage to the property of any other person resulting from the participant's involvement in any workshop. The Great Lakes Institute of Photography and the Professional Photographers of Michigan Inc. shall have no responsibility for the acts, errors or omissions of instructors, staff or other providers of services to participants in the course of the classes.
The Great Lakes Institute of Photography is not responsible for reimbursement of airline tickets due to cancellation of a course, or replacement of an instructor.
Confirmation notification, a statement of the balance due (if any), an information packet containing details relating to the school location and a list of items to bring with you will be mailed to you prior to the class starting dates. All correspondence must be in writing with full name and social security number.
